AVG Internet Security Crashing Google Chrome

The following plug-in has crashed:  AVG Internet Security.  I thought I'd completely removed AVG but it somehow managed to crash Chrome.

The solution was fairly simple.  

1.  In Chrome, click on the settings button.

2.  Go to Tools > Extensions.

3.  AVG Safe Search >  click uninstall.  

That should take care of it FINALLY.
